Definitely total loss. Well, if its worth anything, you can get a 2015 Prius for cheap now.... some dealers around me are selling them for below 20K before TTL.

Hope you and your child are ok. Go get checked out again in a few days, especially with your child. Sometimes things come around late

I wonder what it would have looked like if it was a few inches taller with sliders...

But be happy the truck did it's job in protecting you to. Trucks are replaceable, people are not :)

Damn sorry to see that but glad you and the little one are ok. I would've snapped if my 1yr old child was in the truck when that happen. The other guy who obviously doesn't know how to drive would have ended up eating asphalt.

I'd probably road rage if somebody hit me like that with my daughter in the car.

Sorry about the truck. Hurry! Find a '15!

I have seen worse repaired but does the airbag deployment usually kill it?

That sucks brother. As long a you weren't hurt that's all that matters.

As far as the truck goes I'm pretty sure it's totaled. If the airbags deployed that is often the deciding factor whether they total it or not. Considering the amount of damage on top of that I'd say you are looking at a new truck.

Had mine hit 2 weeks ago with no airbag deployment and they totaled it. Yours looks way worse than mine did. I'd be hoping for a total loss if I were you...I know I sure was. Glad you and the boy are ok...you can get a new truck.

Glad your family is okay OP. I feel bad for you, that's gotta hurt. Take the check from insurance and buy yourself a brand new one, either a 2016 or a 2015 and enjoy it. You deserve that.
