Cherry hill is city life, no trails out that way. Your best bet would be to venture a little further east.

 

I need to get my pile fixed so I can wheel again. Itchin bad.

 

Mine will be back together this weekend. Unfortunately it will need 500 mile break in and I'll be traveling for the next 3 weeks

Ha nope. Besides if I'm really in a bind these days I can self recover with my high lift. Most of the pines are pretty easily wheeled by yourself if you stay out of the water.

I know it's a long way away but I am very interested in a late January RC trip...

 

you have to watch in Wharton there is a big issue going on right now and the PPA and ranger service are closing more then half the trails for no reason so watch for your markings on the trails so you don't get in trouble. If you see trails with perfectly good trees that were cut down by the PPA to block the trails do not go down them

also watch out for sugar sand if you stop in it. it could be a bitch to get out of it if its deep enough

 

The same is happening where we ride in Lebanon, I went camping a month back and huge metal gate was installed and all these trees just plowed over on the side of the trails. I didn't understand because the trees that were knocked down are not blocking any trails. Anytime I go into this land, whatever I bring with me leaves with me so it bothered me when I saw all that knocked down " for no reason".
Anyone know what is the real reason for all this? I have heard many rumors as far as keeping atvs and anyone from wheeling where there is water.

its New Jersey being stupid as always the trails that they are closing in Wharton are perfectly fine. and it the people taking advantage of a great place to ride around and enjoy nature that destroy trails and make them mud pits leaving trash every where

You can make a difference. Attend the meeting and start writing letters. The trails will eventually be back open.

 

It's not a major loss as far as wheeling but a lot of stokes state forest up here is getting closed off too. Now I actually have to walk

 

No offense my neighbors to the east, wheeling in Pa is better...

 

Agreed it's well worth the 3 hour drive.

 

Certainly trumps anything in the near vicinity for me!
