Yep! Motor actually went in in one day a couple weeks ago.. Luckily my bro was slow at work and nice enough to just basically take off a day and do the swap. I showed up after work for the last two hours and helped to button it all up but its was super easy. So now I've got the snorkel on and I'll finish that (needs one more mount) this week and then it's 100% ready to get dunked!!! So next is skids and I've already got the steel for that, just need to find time to cut it up and then weld it all back together in the rights shapes

Ok, snorkel is done, rear brakes and wheel cylinders replaced and I'm NEEDING to get off-road. Got a wedding this weekend so I'm booked but if anyone's available the 18-20th or 25-27th lets go! I'm not picky on where but I've heard that shoe creek has been cut in half by a property owner so it's not even a day long now. I know the switzer damn (33 west of Harrisonburg) trail section very well but I know there's more of that trail to the south of where we've been Brandon and I've heard good things about it, could be a bust but might be fun to look into. Anyone up for it?

Definitely! I hit flag pole a couple weeks ago and that was a blast. I'd be down to do that again or anything else.
    19th works well for me.

Sounds good. I may know two other guys that want to go. Let's touch base end of next week to solidify things.

What's going on dudes? I'm kind of new to TW but just recently moved to Lynchburg by way of SC as well (Go Gamecocks??). I'm about to pull the trigger on an OME/5100 setup but I have no shop/tools here in VA to get it put on. Anybody know a good shop in town? Everywhere I go, these jack wagons try to sell me on just doing a leveling kit and it makes me want to kick em in the dick.

Welcome! It's not that difficult if you can find some basic tools and a couple jacks/stands. Should be able to get your coils preassembled to make your life a little easier.

If that isn't an option, I'm sure someone local will chime in for a shop or helping hand.

@ckeene9 reached out and said he could lend a helping hand, which is very cool. I have got to get everything ordered up and shipped to the burg. Look forward to getting to know you boys and your trucks!

Right on! It will probably be October until I can get to working on anything. Getting married in November, so it's non-stop most weekends. Did you do your suspension install yourself? ...I'm new to the game.

just because i literally laughed at the comment about kicking them in the dicks (they deserve it) it's clear you have good direction with this truck and don't just do things for the looks, PROPS!!! (disclaimer: nothing wrong with leveling kits if all you want is looks but we can all agree that they only make it taller, no real improvements)

the 5100's aren't bad to put in at all, the coils on the other hand... i did them on mine before i went to full OME, the 886's are a real SOB to do without a spring compressor!!! if you can get a shop to just assemble that much for you, you can do the rest in your driveway with, as Willis said, just a few simple tools.

Throwing it out there though, if you're not up to it alone, anyone interested in a mod day? I don't personally have anything to do but I can transport tools where ever and after doing effectively three different lifts on my truck, I've got a good understanding of how that stuff goes.
