I put the 2.5" Gibson system on, really like the sound and am actually getting better gas mileage.

Just add a turbo like what @Torspd that will make any v6 sound really good. Good idea. Design a muffler that is in the shape of a turbine blade. Might loose a few ponies

Didn't even realize who posted that lol.... the 10 grand for a turbo I could just buy a little 350z lol
I was dreaming of just bolting on a uneven y pipe and having a nasty little growl

I had a Borla cat back system on my 2000 4Runner that sounded ok once it broke in. But it had the 3.4L engine. I just bought myself a new 2015 taco last week. I'm going to be looking at options for exhaust in the coming months myself but I'm afraid of making it sound like shit myself. I was leaning toward the Magnaflow Off Road Pro series but I'm worried that it's going to sound like crap. Can anyone vouch for how this one is? My fear is that it's going to sound like a rusted out minivan at higher rpm's

LOL.. Awesome! The main reason I was looking at the offroad pro is because it cuts off before the rear axle.. I guess I could customize any exhaust to do that

I'm relatively happy with just one. Apparently, it's loud, but I dont hear it? :?

No noticeable rasp to me or anything of that nature but the supercharger may have changed it's noise characteristics.

a SC wont really affect the tone of the exhaust. I've gone through so many exhausts its hard to keep track but the dual 2525XLs is the best sounding setup I have run but my exhaust is so altered from OEM that it sounds entirely different than a standard tacoma

So i took the plunge and bought the OBX headers and y pipe (doug thorley copy) and surprisingly, the quality is amazing. I have an aero turbine ar25 resonator and a dynomax super turbo muffler on it and it sounds pretty damn good. Only a small amount of rasp but i actually kind of like it. Might replace the ar25 with a longer MBRP resonator if i want to go quieter.

Got a video of it? I'd like to hear what it sounds like with two! Are you running duals or just a single exhaust with duals welded inline?

What magnaflow are you running, Strictlytoyz? I've listened to a few sound clips of the magnaflow offroad pro on youtube but I'm sure the way it sounds on computer vs the way it sounds in real life are two completely different things.
