    That's a good point actually. Red light has the lowest frequency and lowest energy in the visible light spectrum. I know the military uses red light at night to save night vision and because it can't be seen from a distance as well.

    Edit: Also red light is used in dark rooms.

    It's as if they said, hmmmm, we need to increase fuel efficiency with this smaller engine. While we're at it, we should increase frontal area and drag as much as possible to negate any increase in fuel efficiency. Because we are a really big and really smart car company.
