Everyone who wishes the action in this series was faster are missing the point. The writers are telling a different story than The Walking Dead, because they can since we are all sucked into this spin-off BECAUSE of The Walking Dead. They are showing how society gets from "normal" to "Zombie Apocalypse ". Most of the comments I am reading are made from the perspective of viewers who already KNOW how this is going to play out. The characters have no clue, or at least most of them. We take for granted that their neighbors have become the walking dead but if you woke up tomorrow and your neighbor was behaving that way it would be incomprehensible that they were really dead and wanted to eat you. Their behavior is reasonable given the fact they are experiencing something they cannot imagine. The soldiers and police know but they will not tell the general public because they are afraid they will incite mass panic and they THINK they can contain this epidemic. But we know differently since we know how this plays out.

I like the pace, it feels more realistic to me. I just enjoy trying to figure out who is going to understand the inevitable first and who is going to die in the process. Didn't you just know the principal was going to be one of the first to go?

While I am enjoying the show, one thing about the series (and others like it) bothers me. In the fictional world that these people exist in ... are there no zombie movies? I mean how much weird s**t does someone need to see first-hand before they go "hey, that's a friggin zombie"?

The creator of walking dead said the characters in the walking dead universe don't have zombie movies or have ever heard of zombies before. That's why they don't use the word "zombie".

It will be interesting to see what they eventually start calling the zombies. Like how Rick's group refers to them as "walkers" but the governor's group called them "biters." I think a couple other groups they have interacted with have had different names too but I can't remember. Hopefully they come up with something better than "the infected" as they started saying in this last episode...

"the dead" is probably what they will call them, or "the infected".

So, it appears there will finally be a Talking Dead after show for FTWD. It will be for the finale on October 4th, but hopefully it will turn into a regular gig when season 2 returns next year. I enjoy Chris Hardwick doing these shows and he seems to be a staple part of the experience.

Agreed, too many TWD fans saying show is too slow. I myself like the pace, keeps it interesting.

Pace is good, people just don't have time for story telling anymore. Too much fast and furious

That's my struggle too. I was late to TWD game and didn't start watching until season 3 was about to premiere so I binged season 1-2 in only a couple days and it was awesome.

    I just want more!!!

Maybe the flashing light that Chris saw was Tobias trying to warn them about the military not being safe. Rip Tobias.

Mirror/flashlight person at the end was the best part, leaves lots of questions.

Madison just kill that person by mentioning to the national guards..

Seems that she return from going over to the place, when she saw the normal non-affected bodies in the streets.

Yep. And now he is thinking that he is the reason whoever it was got killed. Madison is pissed. She could have killed Liza with her stare at the end of the episode. It really was her fault that Nick got taken away. Stupid do-gooder! I think Madison will be this show's Rick. She will be the female leader of this show.

This was an episode with no zombies. I can't recall of TWD ever had any without zombies, but I think there was one or two that did.

Yeah, I think they are trying to promote the idea things are under control, and going to get better. I think it will all break loose soon.
