    as jeff said, 90-95% of the buying public wont care about the little stuff.

    sales are about reading people and acting appropriate to the customer to make them feel superior, friendly, buddy, etc to the sales person.

    most customers would be off putting if you had a sales person that was all high and mighty and made you feel like a heel.

    TRD OR A/T MGM DCLB w/ JBL and Tow. Coming out of Baja. Someone a few days ago said that factories were running out of parts (moon roofs, JBL, amongst others)... I wonder if that's true and related to the delay.

    A sister truck to mine had the same build date of 8/19. Well, it got built on 9/11 and delivered to the dealer on 9/15. Still no update on mine.

    Got this text from my salesperson this afternoon about my Blue Limited:

    I received my notification that your vehicle is built !!!! it is saying at this moment though it's still 10 days out shouldn't be long now hopefully it will be earlier than that.

    So full of 2nd gen looking at that access cab. I have mostly seen pictures of the double cabs so far.

    Is Toyota still using a clutch fan on the 3.5? I haven't been able to look at one in person yet.

    FYI, that is a $1200 cover and you loose a fair amount of your bed to it.

    ...Just swung by my local dealer while runnin errands......Frontier-Toyota in Valencia, CA has had several for the last week...and expect 4-6 more next week....

    ...I was on a list to text drive an OR 4x4 when they arrived, and the internet-manager did NOT call me...so wont bother dealing with him anymore....

    ...But they did have a DCSB OR 4x4 MGM on the backside of the showroom near where I parked......so got to look it over and spoke with a sales-guy guarding it...

    who said could not test-drive it as they were working out a deal inside right at the moment....it had the tonneau-cover on it......and sticker was 36,329......

    ...It looked Gorgeous and Enormous!....1st one I got to see in person.....and I was Impressed!...:thumbsup:

    While Toyota dealers all around me have the 2016's, the local a**hole in Modesto says they won't be getting any until Oct 23 at the earliest.
    Although a salesman offered me a brochure on the 2016 Tacoma's, he said they didn't even have any pricing information yet. Two big lies!

    That's why I wish I could just buy my car or truck from Amazon, or anybody else on line. Car Dealers are the scum of the earth.
