Yeah, I was interested as well, but the shipping is a deal breaker for me.

Not horrible when you consider that it's a 56" long hunk of sexy metal.

Yeah, I guess that's all a matter of opinion, especially when considering pricing is already pretty steep IMO.

When you consider what goes into it, the price is a bargain.

    - Cost of steel
    - Plasma cutting
    - Forming
    - Powder coating
    - Transportation to and from powder coating
    - Packaging
    - Website fees
    - CC fees
    - And most of all, taxes

I might need to raise the price of this thing.......

If people question the price, they should try to build it themselves. They will soon know what is involved.

Hehe, size matters. Being that long you think they would buy you drinks to ship it. A box is very standard and easy, something that long and not that light is a bitch to ship.

AND, the OP has to pack and pay insurance, and keep customer happy. Thus his cost to USPS is less than what he charges. Bizness.

The fees that my customers pay for shipping is exactly what I pay. I don't mark up shipping at all.

In some cases, what I pay for shipping is higher than what my customer pays.

Thank you sir, That is awesome. It takes time to do all that though, so you must make a profit, it's the Ferengi way! Star Trek reference.

I'm looking at the tailgate top, mebbe someday.

Do you have any experience or heard feedback for fitment with a Leer 100 XL on a DCSB? ie. Any issues closing the solid glass rear door of the cap against the metal tailgate cap? My Leer closes quite snugly against the plastic factory tail gate cap.

I believe people who have a Leer say their topper seals better with my cap.

Got it Thursday. Wow surprised how heavy it is . SOLID...... Cant believe some people complaining about cost of shipping. Shipping to Hawaii was very reasonable. Going install this weekend. After seeing this tailgate cap need to find away to get the side rail caps to work with my G4 Elite cover. Those look solid too.....
