    You cant see the plug, but just reach under and feel for the wire, twist and remove.

    Cant stand it, looks more like a fashion statement like the once grand pickups from Ford and GM have become.

    Though in one good note, its not as large as i thought it would be in comparing it to a 2000 like mine.

    Installed new alternator and leaking thermostat (while i was in there). I found the same white grease in the original alternator plug that i found in the body harness plug (under the driver seat), and in the o2 sensor plug. Cleaning these with DeOxit D5, solved my dancing fuel gauge and P0420 code issues respectively.

    Ive found some DIY articles call for removing the alternator support bracket to get the alternator out, i did not find this to be necessary.

    Third pic: just a thin film of silicone, no more leaks for sure
    Fourth pic: nice and shiny
