    For real though. If you get a big enough rattle snake, skin it and gut it. Flip it on its back and spread some diced peppers, onions, mushrooms, and some lemon juice. Then braid bacon around it the whole length of the snake and run toothpicks or wooden skewers through it to hold the bacon. Flip the snake belly down and powder the bacon on the snake back with what ever spice rub you like. You can bake it, smoke it, or grill it belly down on some Tin foil (temp and time depends on size and weight of snake).

    Some Mexican cowboy guy cooked this up for my buddies and I in Senoita, AZ. It was great.
