Yessir, I'm alittle behind schedule getting a defined route setup, but I have my truck back from surgery and it's time to play! Gunna go out for another prerun soon and map out good spots for high speed action and photo sessions, but also some cool areas that may require getting alittle technical

    Required Equipment
-Full Size Spare Tire (and the means to change it)
    -Tow Strap
    -Prepped Truck
    -Positive Attitude

    Suggested Equipment
    -Upgraded Suspension
    -Skid Plates
    -Upgraded Tires
    -HAM Radio or CB
    -GPS
    -Off Road Lights

Anyone recommend an offroad tire balancing and alignment shop?

    Edit: Prefer near Davis-Monthan

Firestone at tucson mall, been taking mine there since day one. Offer lifetime alignment @~$130.00 if you mention my name they give 15$ discount.

I get an alignment after every time I offroad

Thanks Pitch, Kind of a haul for me. Is there anything near the base? If not, I'll make the run up there.

Apparently Firestone can't align my truck because the lip/rim protector won't allow them to place the devices on. Any other suggestions?

I always take mine to TCR II. Idk what the normal price is though but they always are spot on on my alignment

I've had good luck with Jack Furriers. They are an Arizona born company and when my alignment tabs started bending they had me bring the truck to Desert Rat, which is owned by the same family, and they straightened and threw a bead of weld along every outside cam tab. The furriers on Palo Verde is just a couple doors down from Desert Rat which was convenient as well. I like supporting local business too.

How many of you guys have your lisence and use Ham radio? I've had mine for over a year now and love it. I couple of my buddies use them too and prefer them over CB, but outside of my friends, I don't know any other guys who go 4 wheelin who have HAM.

    Will do man!
I have a ham but lack the license or experience. My dad got me a Baofeng handheld and it works way better than a CB on just the H band or whichever one allows 2 way communication without a license. I need to put aside the time to study and just get one already haha

Right on, yeah I the Baofengs are cool because they are super cheap. You can run commercial band (150-154mhz) without a lisence. All the off road racing teams and race operators run commercial. I read the book and studied for about a week and passed no problem. It's something you want to do because it can get boring but it's cool to understand the engineering and science end of it.

And if the OP is near the base, the JF on Golf Links and Kolb happens to be my preferred location.

I tried a JF with my wife's Lexus, they couldn't get the steering wheel centered for some reason. I'm tired of paying well known places for sub par work. I'd almost rather buy my own damn alignment rack and do it. I ended up taking the truck to Alignment Specialist off of speedway and the Tacoma is pulling to the left more now than when I dropped it off. 6 month Warranty, but they cannot get me in until a week later. They blamed the tires. I had firestone balance the tires, there is a ridiculous amount of weight on there. I thought about breaking down the tires and spinning them on the rim, but whatever. I guess that is a foreign concept to people for balancing as well. Need to get a whole tire shop just for me.

Brake Max near Golf Links and Kolb has decent prices, I thinks it was like $60 for a alignment and tire rotation. No lift on my truck though.

YES! Gunna be some fun wheeling and exploring. If you have firearms, bring em out, there's plenty of good areas to lay down some lead!
