    But seriously (this all may be old news to you already), if that carrier was under enough stress to bend like that, then beaten back into shape, you may have some cracks in the carrier that could cause problems later. Also, already mentioned, but all the bearings could be compromised (pinion and side). And the carrier itself may be bent some such that the axles are no longer in a straight line side to side (more remote, but just since the carrier was under some large stresses, something to consider).

    It would have to pull it's own gas tank, which cuts down on the load capability. :rolleyes:

    its fine, that stuff happened a year ago, right after the locker was put in, the pinon nut wasnt tightened properly (thanks asshole) and came loose at 60ish mph on the freeway. aver some terrifying banging and jumping i got it off the road. we've checked it out since then, no further damage and its still pretty solid, just not too nice to look at
