    Yeah, bit just think of the mpgs the 3.5 would make in a smaller lighter *real* tacoma

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    Probably close to the same, maybe just a few mpg higher. My first gen is pretty close in weight to what my second gen was. I think mainly because first gens had heftier bodies on them, thicker sheet metal was used.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    Not to mention cast iron engine blocks, I think 2nd gen V6's are aluminum but I could be wrong.

    Just a few mpg... is a lot. So add just a few mpg to 3rd gens mpgs. BAM that's a big increase from sat 2nd gen now is it not?
