2016 TSS Editions

I think this is another version of a TSS (not sure w/o seeing the badging). Based on the wheels and the SR5 I am thinking that this is another TSS

My favorites so far. Same style as the black but... not black

 

look at the rim caps, they have that funky "T" on them, which is a feature of the TSS package.

 

Same wheels and tires as the 2nd gen TSS. Still looks good, but I guess they had a warehouse full to deplete before they update?

 

Anyone know what the make/model of those wheels are? I really like them

 

They are 17" TSS wheels from that come with the package. It's been available since 2012. You see them quite often here in the gulf states. They come black or silver from the factory.

 

My searching is not finding anything other than references to the TSS model trucks. Can you buy the wheels separately? Anyone know the make/model?

from what I can tell these are dupes of another rim, just with a different center cap. go look thru the 2nd gen forums if I remember correctly someone posted the original 3rd party rim they based it on.

These are SR5s 4x2s with the lower level stereo.

Gulf States Toyota (not the factory, these are "port" installed options) adds different wheels and tires, tube steps, and two TSS stickers on the bed. From what I can tell by building a similar truck on Toyota.com there is about $2500 of profit built into these things (MSRP of $33,565 vs. build price MSRP of $31,073).

By the way, basically the same price I paid for my TRD Off-Road 4x4.

Do yourself a favor and find a regular SR5 and add the aftermarket stuff yourself for less money.

 

This is the label from the gray wheels I installed. The wheels are from a gulf states region dealer and were $869 for the set.

Of coarse a extra cost, it was exactly what I was looking for and the color I wanted. I was looking at the TRD sport, but I know I was going to change the wheels and running boards out , I didn't want the crawl control in the TRD or so I went this way and it gave me a good platform to start on the truck I wanted to make my own. Still want the scoop though lol. And even with the TSS package still came out awesome on the deal after my trade in.I love this truck ive always wanted a Tacoma!
