Not interested in the bamf bar anyways cause I would always have the tire mounted up anyway and I can mount it like that on the two bed bars I have. The tire fits under the bed with my exhaust chopped off now but I hate leaving the aluminum rim under the truck during winter it doesn't stand a chance. I'm not that worried with bed space I don't haul wood or coal so I'm good there.

Good lord who wants to climb up to the roof to change a tire especially in the snow.

I'd be terrified to lift that beast over my head and place it on the top without dropping it and destroying my cab. I didn't even like lifting my bike on to the roof of my SUV and it is not even close to the same weight.

@SquirrelyPatriot BTW, your lasered parts are finally finished. I will begin your slider and should have them out of powder coat by the end of the month.

Right now, AFI in Jessup. I am in the works with going somewhere else though. We started talking to a new shop in Delaware.

Reasons for going with another powder coating shop? Problems with the current shop such as delays, quality, price?

Quality is great, price is above average for the area, way more than what other vendors are charging for the same item and lead times kind of suck. They won't give us a completion date when dropping parts off and don't really give us a price until it is time to pick them up which is no good. I can never quote a person a cost on powder coat or even tell them how long. Every time I told someone what I think the price should be, I am way off and end up eating the cost. I've only powder coated two sets of sliders so far and wasn't even close on both sets. Lost a lot of money on the order.
