And bought a Ram 1500 Laramie eco diesel. I wanted heated cooled seats, heated side mirrors, power rear window and high 20s highway fuel economy. The new Taco just doesn't fit the bill for the price IMHO. I had a 06 DC 4wd sr5 and it was a great truck but I wanted more luxury items because I'm getting older and after 44 cars specifically required these things.

Good luck with your truck. Must have cost you a pretty penny. You will hear the obvious dodge reliability comments but you will have a very comfortable ride initially and hopefully it holds up well for you.

10 posts in 5 years. Guess you weren't a real Tacoma enthusiast anyway.

lol. Probably true considering the reliability issues of the EcoDiesel.

Congrats. They are nice trucks, A neighbor has one.

You must have paid nearly 50K. Laramie 2wheel drive start at 47 + 3 K for the eco diesel.

I am going to be going the opposite direction and getting rid of my 09 Ram 1500 4x4.
Will most likely trade in because in AZ tax is paid on the new car cost - trade.
Want to get back to a smaller truck again. Got rid of my 06 Tacoma this past week.

In 4 or 5 years, when you get ready to trade that Dodge in, you will realize that you put your money in the trash can.

Congrats on the Dodge. Here's a tip that will save you a lot of time fumbling through phone numbers on your phone.

A couple of guys I know did this for their Dodge and they say it's soooooo much easier. Place your Service adviser's contact number on speed-dial.... You guys will be on a first name basis in just a few short months.
