Great Episode! Definitely a cliffhanger. XO is Overland. This isn't about going out with a go pro on your dash and making big splashes in mud puddles to show your friends. Over landing is traveling adventure all over the globe with a team of likeminded people building and strengthing these friendships while meeting and inserting yourself with cultures of the world. Clay has been with Expeditions 7 and anyone into adventure and circumnavigating the globe knows about Expeditions 7. The connection with Team 5 episode was awesome. Showing some veterans teaming up to help disadvantaged people in austere environments is great. In their now civilian lives they continue to win the hearts and minds of the people they encounter(De Opresso Liber). The Team 5 guys spent a lot of time in South and Central America when active duty and it shows.

Kurt, thanks for chiming in so much answering questions and sometimes responding to the not so favorable comments.

I've only spoken to Clay and Rhonda on the phone and a couple emails. Both were beyond friendly and courteous. Both spoke to me like they had known me for a lifetime.

    Keep the adventure coming!

I'm pretty sure I've watched all of their videos. I think Morrison jeep trail series was the first, followed by the Moab series and then on to the ones that are still available to watch today. The first two series were really centered around the trails and there was a ton of footage of them wheeling. But then came the Alaska trip. I give them shit in the overland expo thread, commenting on the tire rotation scene. It was like they were trying to have product placement for every single piece of gear they could (I understand this is part of the gig but sometimes it becomes so obvious that its annoying) and in the end didn't even get the job done right as witnessed in episode 10.

    And then sure as shit.

But I got over it and realized that this is more of a travel channel show with some truckin thrown in and not an off road series. The production value is high, the scenery is awesome and I look forward to watching the crew explore areas that I haven't been to.

I agree with what others have said in that overlanding is more than just hitting trails and covering ground, there are many other facets involved like people, culture, camaraderie, etc. and that's why I continue to watch the series

Kurt - I suspect its probably due to sponsor conflict but can you shed some light on why the first couple seasons are no longer available to view?

I'm not entirely clear on that. I'll see if I can get some clarification.
