Not that I have noticed. At least not that much of a change. I'm still 18-19 mpg in most driving conditions.

    Just getting started
Seriously... Do you really think 50-60 pounds would change your mileage?

Do you mean the clearance between the step and the flair? I dont have them but maybe this would give you and idea.

The steps worked out great for me. Mine is a 14 and like some of the other posts stated the front mount bracket only lines up with 1 hole but have not seen a issue with movement yet. They are not frame mounted so will not hold the weight of the truck but will take a better hit than the cheaper tube steps. Also i went with the stick on traction tape, 10 bucks at Lowes and had enough left over for my rear plate bumper.

its an all pro offroad apex aluminum bumper. expensive but you dont have to get stiffer coils... think its only like 55 lbs?

Are these lower than the OEM tubular steps? I tried to look for some measurements and was unable to find them. Anyone has the measurements from door sill to step?

traded mine in with em on. but you're talking less than an inch from the door sill. They tuck right up to it.
