They don't just come off I tried that when we were sliding that girls bed back back on the frame couldn't figure out how to get it undone

 

Anyone going to slamfest in gainesville this weekend?

 

Hey john, not sure how you went about it, but I just got mine off....and it literally just slid right off once all the bolt brackets were undone

 

I guess new front end models is different we disconnected everything we saw

 

asks for help, does whatever anyway

 

Well....if no one knows how, might as well explore and find out how right?

Just got get out there and turn some wrenches sometimes.

 

wish i was that brave, but then again 4Runner would probably be in pieces like the bikes i used to take apart and couldn't get back together when i was little lol

 

Thanks man! Pretty easy...but if you want it to be hassle free....remove the bed lol, I had such a hard time getting the last 3 top bolts on the cab side off it was ridiculous. There are like 15 bolts that need to be taken off, 5 on the cab side, 2 in the wheel well for the side supports, 4 with the utility track, and like another 4 or so by the tailights and the bumper area

Yup, a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Even with all the worthless write ups lol

So Im planning a trip to the compound this weekend. I never been there before. I did some online scouting and found some spots. Where should I stay away from and where are some must do spots.

 

Do you have sliders, skids, lockers? How much do you wanna wheel?

 

No sliders. 15 off road so I got locker, atrac, dac, etc. Stock tires.

 

if you go in on bombardier, don't go on the hills to the right when you first get in because they're private property and avoid all mud because it's deceiving out there... small puddles are like giant gaping holes to hell.
