I would pretty much call it necessary if you want to keep the red letters on there. I've seen a few trucks in person with those letters peeled off and the owners were pretty sore about it. Once guys peeled off the first time he washed it, at a self wash with the pressure washer style hose. I gave him the same tip.

Sorry if I missed it but what is the width and offset of the SEMA wheels. I would like some sort of wider stance but think that they may be flush.

17x7 with offset of 4 (vs 30 stock on the sport) so the wheels will be pushed out nearly an 1" compared to stock.

Yeah, they're quite a bit wider stance than stock - that's something I noticed right away. Pushes the tire right out to about the fender, but not past it (with 255's). Looks great.

CrashnBurn, here are the pics of the Fuel rims at the dealership to show how far they stick out. It's not my original truck but one similar.

Looks like they stick out 1-1.5" like I estimated earlier. Doesn't look terrible, though I still prefer the flush look. Keeping the tires flush or under the flares also helps prevent mud and rocks from being thrown down the side of the truck.

I'd like to thank all of you very much!!! You all helped immensely and made it easy for me. And a special thanks to Crashnburn80 !!! He was so helpful I feel like I owe him my life. He helped me during install and through out the whole process. Every time I ran into a problem or question he was right there for answering within seconds. It was like he was actually here installing it with me. If I didn't ask him one hundred questions I didn't ask him one(and he answered them all). Crash your a good man!!! Also special thanks to Poweredbysoy. If he didn't tell me about these rims the exact time he did I would probably still be looking. But again all of you helped!!! And I really thank you
Well with all that said, here she is!!!! Trucks a little dirty but I absolutely love it now.

    Fucking hawwwwwwwt. Nice truck, amigo.

And trucks look better a little dirty. You don't want to be one of those hosers with shiny paint and even shinier wheels.

Those black wheels with red accents turned out sharp with the red and black TRD sticker. Good choice! Makes the truck look more aggressive but well coordinated. Nice work on the install!

Just so you guys know I got the wheel balanced on a Road Force balancer. The thing is sick!!! It calculates the Rims and tires separate. Then it picks the best place to mount your tire on the rim(meaning they mount and un-mount the tires a couple times to get them perfect). State of the art. Top notch. You even get a read out telling you why they used this weight where they did on the rim. This guy also had a laser Alignment machine. Cost more money but well worth it IMO.

If anything if you drive your truck hard nice suspension probably helps prolong its life.

Also I forgot to tell you people Driving impressions. It is unbelievable!!!! Remember in the beginning that is what I was worried about. This thing drives ten times better(no Exaggeration). I can't believe the difference. I thought it would be rough and difficult. I was 100% wrong. They should of made these things stock with this suspension. The KO2's made it even slightly stiffer. I thought it was awesome with the stock tires until I got the BFG's on. I can't say enough good stuff about this setup. I always keep to myself because I don't want to lead people in the wrong direction. But in this case I have NO fear. This setup gives the Tacoma the best ride possible. It's like my truck is brand new. Only problem now is I can't seem to shut it off. Gone through a few tanks of gas already. Even the braking seems better somehow. Maybe that is just me but I'm willing to bet it isn't. EVERYTHING about the truck is now better.

Hmmmm. How much? I might look into getting this done. I had my tires mounted/balanced at the dealer, and while I think they did an okay job, I still feel like there's a wee bit of wobble at 60+ mph. I don't feel it in the steering wheel, but I can hear it in the way the tires drone, and slightly feel it in the floor board. Slight. But, still, annoys my OCD.
