Does anyone know if a Co2 tank can be stored inside the cabin or does it need to be stored outside? Looking at air compressors and Co2 is not much more than a good compressor and much faster to air up.

 

Was just reading online that the tank can get too hot and the release valve can open

What about this one? I don't see why you couldn't gator clip it, it only requires a hot and a ground, it wants an inline fuse but I doubt you'll pull enough to trip it

I've seen tons of CO2 tanks stored inside vehicles and haven't heard of any issues.

Not that I've seen. As long as the tank is secure an accident won't be an issue. You might knock the valve off, but all that is going to do is release the CO2. That's if you have it securely mounted. Hell, it might even put the fire out for you.

 

Fire? I don't drive a Chevy so no fires for me.
