My brother has blue ribbon and honestly it looks awful after just a little dirt on it. I agree the silver stays/looks clean the longest.

I have a SSM 2015 OR that I haven't washed in months that still looks great. I have some deep pinstripes from AZ terrain also, still looks sexy!

I am partial to white because it's hot as balls here in Florida!

One can never have too many light bars.
I believe it's common knowledge that the MGM, while looking ravishing, has more torques and horsepower according to me.

Silver looks better with black modifications. I had a mgm preerunner and dirt showed up waaaay to quickly..the superwhite takes alot longer to become obvious. Except for dead bugs. If i didnt have white id go for silver. If i had the option id also choose spruce muca.

ON A SIDE NOTE: i dont mean to thread jack but a thought occured to me as i was responding. . . . Why did they make a trd pro for 2015 right before they "remodeled" the truck. Dont make a damn bit of sense.

Thanks Joe. Nothing fancy here as they are the stocks. Well not really stock I guess, part of the TX edition package. Only had her for a couple weeks. I do like the way they pop against the silver.

They are the 265-65/17 on 17x8's. Not sure who makes them.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. So, I was on my way to look at a silver and mgm DCSBOR (had to drive a couple hours) when I came across a dealer I never knew existed here in rural WV. Walked out of there with a DCSB Sport in Pyrite Mica! 10 miles on it, gave me pretty good $ for the trade, and I did so so on the final price based on other threads lately regarding sale price. Glad to be back in the Tacoma.

BTW, if it was between the two, I was leaning silver. Again, thanks for the replies!

I think they did the 2015 PRO for several reasons. The first being it keeps them in the 4x4 news as the clear leaders in the field - great advertising and marketing. 2nd, they could release a special "3 Vehicle TRD PRO 4x4 Series Editions" that has or will surely sell all units built for the over-inflated prices they come with - across the Top of the Line Models of 3 different vehicles mind you = Big Bucks minimal investment for Toyota.

    On the other hand, :notsure:

You made the right decision. Pyrite mica hides dirt, mud, road grime, and cow $hit better than any other. Not to mention it's just a beautiful color. We bought my wife's Pyrite Mica last December over a white one, couldn't be happier. Congrats! Now start building....

Looks like you bought at the perfect time, they're starting to disappear. Dealership up here has 10 2015 Tacoma's left. Last week it was 19. 2 weeks before that over 30.

Pyrite is a great choice. Congrats!

Like my husband tx9812valve said, we love pyrite! Looks amazing in all different lights and hides everything pretty well! Glad you found one!!
