my girl always gives me shit too...she's got really good memory and can list just about everything i've done and bought and constantly reminds me of how much money i've spent on my truck that could've went to other things. i just dropped 2k on a new lift, seat covers and a bunch of small random accessories. she has no clue that i ordered shit today and i'm assuming i have about a week to justify my actions and come up with a story...

I think discovering this site might be the worst thing that ever happened to me, and my wallet. To much inspiration. I've even started selling other toys so I can afford new Taco parts. I told my girl I'm a full blown addict and she needs to stop me, she said no, she likes riding in the truck as much as I like driving it.

Most auto passionate folks suffer from a case of moditus. It may be spoken in many different forms but moditus is exactly what it is. Once a car/truck person finds a model specific auto owners forum the disease will matasticize and become incurable. This leaves the sufferers in a constant state of query. They look longingly on others projects as they side glance their finances to find ways to swing the next payment for a new modification.

Almost ashamed to admit the worst fight I ever got into with the ex (rather, she got into with me) started one evening because I was on TW on my phone for the full two hours of the movie "we" were watching (gaaaaaaah the movie was awful!). In my defense, if it was that big of a deal she seriously coulda put the brakes on it after 15 minutes. But no, she had to let it steep for the full 120. And get angrier. and angrier. and angrier... Holy cow was she mad at the end of that one. I was like "wtf just happened?!?". Needless to say, I slept on the couch that night.

My wife hates my passion as much as I love it.

Last week a coconut fell and dented the roof of her car, the first thing she said was "good thing it wasn't your truck" in a sarcastic tone. I responded "yeah, you're right, because then I'd be getting a sweet new moon roof, instead of fixing your car." She was not pleased. The theoretical couch that night was very comfy.
