You understand that you are buying from a cartel in Texas and not from Toyota so factory incentives will not be available... Hawaii and Gulf states are part of a private distributor that bought the rights before Toyota became a viable business.

Snip> Gulf States Toyota Distributors (GST) is the world's second (out of 2) largest franchised distributor of Toyota vehicles. The 154 dealers in the five states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texasaccount for 13% of Toyota sales in the United States

what the heck is a tda fee.

There stating that they are selling 750 above invoice, but im not sure what is tda and gasoline charges.
    Invoice is $36,192.03 + $750 over = $36,942.03

Does that seem fair im charged for gas and 605 bucks of tda? whatever the heck that is.

Toyota dealership ad fee. It's a bad way to charge more. I bet they will say they can be sued by Toyota if you ask for it to be removed

The thing that irritates me is that tda always seems to be different for each quote. It just can't be a flat fee.

"As a general rule, you will need to pay the advertising fee - most dealers will not negotiate on it."

    http://blog.truecar.com/2011/08/26/regional-advertising-new-cars-what-you-should-expect-to-pay/
"Regional Advertising Fees are a reasonable cost of business that the dealer pays for advertising and promotions that the Manufacturer runs in the dealer’s area. These are itemized on the vehicle's invoice. Regional Advertising Fees are not typically negotiable, as they are part of the dealer's cost for the vehicle. Viewing the dealer invoice will show the Regional Ad Fee amount the dealer was charged by the manufacturer for the vehicle and is included in the total invoice, and by definition the MSRP price, of the vehicle. - See more at: http://blog.truecar.com/2011/08/26/...ou-should-expect-to-pay/#sthash.AgxJYpl8.dpuf"

Quick question. Im thinking about buying a DCLB sport 4x4 with premium tech package and towing (no leather).
This is a similar truck that the sales person is using to give me my quote. He said that with the options I want it would cost me 37557.00
Would you guys consider this an ok deal since I'm paying less than msrp?
    Coments...
    Thanks.

It's a 33740 dollar truck with 2650 in options. So no, it's not a good deal. Also, remove the advertising fee, TDA, or walk the eff out. And lower the price overall, as well

Nope, you don't mention the long bed. It's a 34340 dollar truck with 2680 in options. 11 dollars for gas? Ask the to siphon it out

Oh look you didn't mention JBL either. Why is the msrp price in the total price space? The invoice price should be there for you. They did not pay that for the truck. I would have already called a different dealer. I'm sure they will tell you they pelurchaded the truck for that invoice price. Ask them what tier they sold into last month. And then when you make a deal, agree to only pay 98% of it. They will get their 2% back at the end of the quarter.

Are you still in California?! These prices outside of the Gulf State zone is lolz

I bit the bullet and put a deposit down knowing i will be paying $36,942.03
Not horribly bad with the packages i have? any thoughts you guys?
I'm planning to fiance through my credit union 1.99 for 60 months. Not sure if the dealership can match or beat that price, but I'm hoping to make some dollars back from it or being able to put 10-20k down on a credit card to get some rewards back. We bought a jeep last week and they only allowed 3k. When i bought my previous vehicle they took 15k in credit card charges.

    TRD OR 4x4 auto sb
    jbl premium technology package
    tow package
    floor mat and door sill

How did you get them to go under $37k? It seems like every single dealer I have either emailed or called has been hard pressed to sell that exact truck for $38.5k, or basically MSRP.

I'm paying $500 over invoice for mine. I wouldn't pay any higher than $750 over invoice.

What are you telling the dealership? I have straight up said to several dealers that I want to pay $500-$800 over invoice without any luck. Could be that I'm in a smaller market... Idk

I literally contacted every dealership in my County and made them fight over my business. Tell them there are dealerships out there willing to play ball and move these vehicles. It boiled down to two, and both of them were $500 over invoice.

Can you list the full description of those abbreviated fees? CT, ES....?
