nope. I have a documented history of rust from year 2 or 3 of ownership. the inspection itself is a new thing. kinda hoping it fails because it'll be a ton of shitty work to grind out all the rot and weld new plates over it...

I'm thinking you should drive it along the beach (in da water...:D) to help expedite that rust process. Guarantee replacement...:)

    Too long to list :D
I have a Bakflip G2 and love it. Had a retractable before and it was very convenient, but you loose too much space with a 5' bed. And thanks to Kirby my G2 now has CS rails! Bed rack here I come!!!

If you ever need, you can take the Bakflip off in about a minute by yourself.

I have the undercover classic hardcover and even though I think about getting a folding or retractable cover I can't get past the lack of bed cover compared to the undercover. The undercover sits on top of the bed frame and then overlaps the sides and tailgate. The tailgate can't open when the cover is down and the water runs off the side and tailgate. My bed has been bone dry these past rainy weeks especially sitting in it. Aloha toppers is the only place I know locally that might be able to give you some variety of cover choices.

According to undercover's website, it says Rons performance, Pamalu, Pacific motoring, and Mike Makena's windward ford are local dealers. Sprayliner hawaii was also a dealer, but I don't know if they still in business since they moved from their Dillingham location.

I got my cover from Sprayliner but like you said they moved and the only other company I have dealt with is Aloha Toppers. For the others I can't say anything as I have not had any experience with them.

Got my permit for Kaena Point. How many of you actually put the sticker on your bumper?

I also have mine on a magnetic plate. Can take it off when I leave the gate. I used to have it on a little aluminum plate that I ziptied to my bumper.

Mine is mounted to a plate that's by my license, it also holds my safety check too.

I had one lying around my yard. It was the same hight at the vehicle license plate, and sticks out long enough to bend so it follows the contour of the bumper and not block the lights. Bottom of license is also bolted to it so it's a bit more rigid.
