    Hey Guys,

I just changed my plugs on my 2013 DCSB tonight and found this on the passenger side, middle cylinder plug. The truck has 50,000 miles on it. All of the other plugs looked good. One coil pack had a little oil on it but nothing like this one. Is this something I should be worried about.

    Thanks... Toph

It looks like it may have got loose, the center of the plug looks good, just torque them to specs. and check it later for any oil.

Looks like the oil came from outside the engine so nothing to worry about. Is there oil in the hole leading down to the plug?

I second this, should be a fairly easy fix (coming from someone with a 4 banger, the valve cover might be harder to get to on the v6?).

    Spark plug well gaskets:

Shouldn't fail at 50k miles. You have a warranty?

Its covered. Take it back to Toyota. Its not a hard job, but not a quick and easy one either. Get Toyota to do it for you

It actually is pretty quick and easy, since its the rocker cover that comes off, not the head.

Had oil on the one closest to the firewall on the driver side. Still runs perfect except that damn Tick is annoying
