We can make it work. If I need to get you a set of rails that are bent slightly angled to sit flush on the tracks we can do it. The standard one should work fine. @SixthSnail

Can anyone tell me the distance between the siderails (left to right)? I looked through the thread (not very hard though) and the website and didn't see a measurement. Thanks!

Some manufacturers install the tracks from the factory at narrower widths than others. Particularly snugtop and leer. ARE tends to be wider and obviously if you install them yourself or have the dealer install them you have more control. The way the racks are setup it is dependent on those mounting tracks.

Getting the shell Saturday. Will be in the market for a toprac long bed around December or November!

I just got my ARE Z Series back from the painter and have a set of Yakima tracks sitting in my storage room waiting to be put on.

I plan on getting your toprac for my SB in the near future. How far apart should I install the Yakima tracks to work best with the toprac base?

I'd wait to drill until I can get the toprac, but I already have a set of Yakima towers and crossbars from my 1st Gen. I plan on hauling my kayak around between now and when I purchase your rack.

42.5" Is ideal and will allow for the width of the toprac to match the cabrac.

Nice. I know you were thinking about a bedrack but you will be glad you got the shell. They are very useful.

Yeah! It took my girlfriend almost killing me but I'm alive. It popped up on CL and as long as it's in good shape when I go see it on Saturday, it's mine!

So when ordering, do I measure my tracks and send you the measurements?

Okay Dakota greatly needs this.... I keep telling myself the next mod will be gears but damn...

Quick question that's probably been asked a million times...

Does the base rack price include any crossbars or do I just add how many I want?

Also if so how many should I have on an Accessrac? Just going to carry a plano case, maxtrax, and maybe a big water Rotopax...

The base AccessRac comes with 5 crossbars. You can order extra if you want. I highly recommend the HD bars. Really kickass!
