If I were to go with the OME 884 for the 2" lift, how high would i want to go in the back and what would I use? I want to get this right and not have a half ass setup.
    thanks

2015 TRD sport; double cab; 6 foot box/bed; tires are currently 265/65/17;. so far all stock.
What if I used OME 885, bilstein 5100 set at zero, and a 1" AAL in the rear, which would still have a slight rake yes?

You should be fine with the 885 and AAL

The progressive AAL will add about 1.5"

Ok, if you really want to do it right and not have a half ass setup do coils with 5100s and a full leaf pack at the rear with 5100s. To answer your Q about front rake with a 1" AAL in the back, can't really say as all trucks are different from the factory. I have 885/5100s front set at zero with a .5" AAL in the rear and I'm level. So you would have some rake but I don't know if it would even be noticeable. Anyone chime in?

Another option are the Bilstein 6112's. I put them on set on the middle of the 5 rings and got 2.5" on the front, 4x4 2.7 access cab so a little lighter than a 4.0 but am figuring on only ending up with 1-1.5" after I bolt on my sliders and BAMF IFS skid which weighs 80#. Still waiting on the armor so can't say where I end up yet.
I put 5100's on the back but I have Firestone airbags on the rear so can adjust the level there somewhat. May end up beefing up the rear end yet but have to wait and see how it sits after I bolt on the other goodies. I do really like the ride difference so far but haven't gotten off-road yet with them. That's coming up soon though on a run up in Big Bear. :D Hhit up Bman4x5 and ask him, he's been running a similar setup for a while now.

can you give us some measurements from the ground to under the fenders front and rear? Nice truck btw, I wish I had gone with 886 or 887 because I'd really like to run a 3" lift with 285/75/16 without having to use spacers or blocks for the lift. Funny, when I first got the 885s with 32" tires I thought it looked a little red neck like. Now I'm wanting a 4" lift....

Brush guard, light pods, bilstein 5100 at 1.75", taillight guards
Front level at 1.75" billies. Stock rear. Turned out pretty level. I think the billies are a great option. Rides much better than stock, less lean

Thanks, I'm at 39 1/2 in the front and 39 1/4 in back. That is center of the hub from the ground to fender. No issues with the alignment.

If you want to use 285s you can do aa cab mount chop, pinch weld flatten, and remove the the front mud flaps. Then use whatever suspension you want.

If you maintain suspension travel (I.e. not a spacer lift) the full up position is the same as stock. So the tires have to fit there the rest of the travel range is easy.

That said, if you just want 285s, don't care about travel, and dont ever really load up the bed, you need about 2" of front lift to get level. The OME kits seem popular.

I used a spacer lift initially, then upgraded to Icons and Dakars in the back.
