I've got a sent of toytec coilovers on my truck and want to swap out the spring for some heavier ones like the OME 886.

My question is will those springs drop right place of the toytec springs?

I want to replace the sprngs on my coilovers with heavier ones and keep the existing shocks

I've got toytec coilovers with the original springs it came with and I want to change the springs out with OME 886 springs

Do you know what the shocks are? I saw some bad reviews with 5100 shocks running 886 coils. But I don't see why not.

I wouldnt think so, the spring on the Toytec coil overs is designed to work with that shock valving. The length and rate are probably different being an adjustable height coil over compared to a standard spring and strut.

I know people go up to 885s with 5100s even some cases of 887s. But no way would I run 886s on 5100s. The OME shocks are valved and designed to be used with OME coils. Use what works together.

A standard coil spring is pig tailed on bottom, the coils on the Toytecs are not due to he adjustment ring. Why are you wanting to change them, if your adding weight to the front just crank them down some more.

You may call All pro off road, seems like they may have two different spring rates for those coilovers as they sell there own version. I did not see the boss coil overs or did i see there coilovers for 2nd Gen. I think as long as you keep your ride height you want and are not having issues anywhere else and a decent ride you should be fine with what you have.
