I found the slip. I attached the read out you get also Soy. Only problem is I paid for everything all together(it's not broken down) The kid was talking to me about it for a half hour. the system is sick. Definitely the way to go on balancing.

I also had a frozen lower Control arm Cam bolt. So I'm sure I got charged to get that freed up also. All three were 161.00. What's an alignment? $80 maybe? So that would means to balance & mount all 4 wheels was either $80 or less(depending on if they charged me to free up the cam bolt). sorry it's not broken down sir. I wish it was.

Great forum to read! I have almost the same truck 2015 TRD Off Road Access cab Pyrite Mica. Ever since I got the truck 9 months ago I have been on here almost everyday Researching different lifts and tire options. I also want to keep a very similar ride quality that my truck has now if not improve on it. I will keep this option in mind.

Your just like CrashNBurn Soy. He tries to take no credit either. But I'm sorry your both wrong. Crash basically built my truck. And I'm telling you right now!!!!!! If you didn't post the pic of the rim the exact time you did, I would have ugly Fuel rims that were way too wide on my truck(and don't look anywhere as good as these do). Crash wouldn't of let me buy them anyways but you saved me from going crazy wondering what I was going to do.

    Your and artist sir....haha

P.s. I'm not calling Fuel rims ugly. I'm saying the ones i would of picked out would of been ugly.

This has been the greatest post I have ever read on this site !!!! Lurked here for about 6 or 7 weeks trying to learn which model I wanted and only joined the other day. It was tough trying to to decide what I wanted going from a 2011 Ford F-250 Larriet to a 2012 Tacoma DCSB Off Road but figured out what I wanted through here. Every question you asked was the same questioned I have so I am sure you didn't just help me but a ton of others. Questioned were asked perfect and every reply was polite and helpful to so many I am sure. Answers from all were just and example of pure class !!!! To all of you from OP to the guru's with all that knowledge I want to say thank you. When you are making a change like I did and having no knowledge of Tacoma's is tough, some questions to you guys that know all about these trucks may seem stupid but for you guys that take the time to really help us out is a blessing !! Best post I ever read on this site right from the way the questioned that OP wrote so well right down to the answers and opinions. Great job to all you guys, your all the Bombdiggity !

Truck looks great! I bought those same wheels for my 2013 DCSB OR and the BFG KO2s, due in large part to Crashnburn80's input. Lift should be on my doorstep this afternoon. Lift goes on this weekend. Tires, wheels and alignment on Monday. I'll post pics when complete. Congrats again on your truck!

I'm sure I am telling you guys nothing you already know. But for those interested in the Road Force Balancer here is a link to a little vide describing it. It works unbelievable. My KO2's are pretty big compared to what came off so I did a little test this morning on way to work. The highway I take has been being worked on all summer and a mess. So I hit 95mph for about a mile. Some surface smooth and some ripped up. Not one little shake at all. It's like I have street tires on the truck

    thanks

I figured a pic of just the tire and rims was in order. These KO2's are the nicest tires I have ever owned!! (and I couldn't find this combo when I was looking myself)

Well I finally got the lift, wheels and tires installed. Did the lift in my garage over this past weekend. The UCA bolts were a real pain in the azz. But after lots of sweat and more cussing than a Ricard Pryor comedy album its done. Absolutely love the way it turned out. It drives like a truck now. The stock suspension was to car-like in my opinion. I never felt like I was driving a truck....I sure do now. No vibes to really speak of and the ride in not to harsh. Hopefully I can get up to the mountains this weekend for a little 4x4 testing. These forums have proved to be invaluable. Thanks to all who helped me by offering opinions and suggestions!

AWSOME!!!!!! Way better than mine!!!!! I knew I should of got a OR in white!!!

On your UCA bolts. I forgot to tell you guys my lower ctrl arms adjustment bolts were frozen solid. the alignment guy spent hours trying to free them up. WTF!!! 2014 with only 20K on it. Why are our bolts so much trouble?????

But looks good and great work. Have you figured out how to clear coat the hubs yet? I screwed mine up. I'm going to use the paint Soy did and do the whole cap I think.

Those black rims make that white truck unbelievable!!!!!!!

The LCA bolts are assembled dry, and then you soaked them in salt brine in the Mass winter. :(

You got that right!! Past few years have been two months of summer and the rest winter. But I try and keep it clean. During the winter I power wash everything weekly. Plus those bolts look to have some sort of coating. Zinc maybe. But your right, living here sucks. Everything gets ruined.

Either get a set of the Moog greaseable bolts, or apply lots of grease when you assemble, then take them appart and re-grease periodically.

Did you alignment tabs get screwed up too?

That I don't know. It all looks good when I take a peak. they just told me they had problems because I had a frozen bolt.

If I take them apart to grease won't it screw up my alignment?
