Huh, where are you located at and how much are you asking? Also, how uncomfortable does it make driving that you want to get rid of it? I go off roading somewhat often, would this vb still be good for stuff like that?

I'm in Az.. so the swap may be difficult. BUT.. there wouldn't be any downtime. asking $500 plus your valve body obviously. all you need is your choice of trans fluid.

I have been running it for a couple years now. It has been great while wheeling. no issues. It does shift hard.. especially from 1st to 2nd. but.. when you're getting on it.. those hard, fast shifts are awesome! no delay or lag. acceleration is improved due to this. I have before and after videos of the valve body in my build.

Bummer, that's a pretty far drive haha. Do you know if getting a kit installed at a tranny shop will be just as good?

IDK to be honest. IPT is reputable, plus they use your core.. not sure how it would work at a trans shop.

Are ipt and level 10 the only companies that you know of?

Great deal right there. If located near each other it's the best thing you could do for your truck

that's how I scored it in the first place. Werty down in Tucson was parting out his Taco at the same time I was building mine up.. prefect timing. we did the swap in just a few hours.

Yea it's just a tedious process from beginning to end. Just have safety glasses or face shield ready. By the time I was refilling fluids my arm was tired trying to pump the fluid back in.

Op if you plan on doing this I recommend adding a trans cooler as well.

I'm not saying it isn't needed.. but I've been without a Trans cooler since day 1, and have beat on my truck in triple digit temps, under HEAVY load, etc.

Does anybody have any information on the level 10 kits? I have a few questions. First, is one of these kits as good as sending my valve body out to get it redone by IPT or level 10 or is it not as good? Second, level 10s website states that they will specifically pick different springs and valve sizes to make the perfect valve body for the way that you drive. Will they be able to send out different springs and different drillbits if I order a kit, or is it just one premade kit? TIA!
