Both trucks had/have about a 3" lift (I took the front coilovers from my previous truck and installed them on my current truck). I do have a front diff drop but I am not sure if that changed the angle much (I didn't take a before/after photo). It doesn't look bad to me at all though.

Same here. I did a Diff drop and it didn't seem to do much good!

I do have a lift (OME coils w/ Nitrocharger) with a diff drop. CV angles aren't terrible but they are original and need replaced. My wheels are full turn in this photo, because that is how I park my truck and I wasn't going to straighten the wheels for the photo.

Ecgs want $60 to ship a $60 tool. Then you got import fees, taxes, and exchange rate. Almost $200cdn at the end of the day.

No problem. You already have a buyer lined up after you're done with it too.

All three trucks have the same issue? My previous Tacoma didn't have this issue (2002 extra cab 4x4)....it's so weird how it only affects some trucks and not all. At least there's a solution.

Nah not all have exactly the same problem, one has a leaky seal on the front diff, might as well do the bearing when we do the seal. Another truck has a bounce that didn't go away with balancing the tires so it might need a front axle bearing too.

Wow, this thread took off! Thanks everyone for your input and for supporting other members.

I'm ready to tackle this issue. Anyone have a tool that's already been resized for sale?

I finally dropped my Bilstein adjustables down to the 0 setting and am letting the 3" Eibach coils do all the lift for my truck. I didn't need it on the 2nd setting. Big mistake

There is more to the story me thinks. You reach a limit there?,,or just a toothbreaker ride?

No. I had been meaning to do it for awhile but hadn't been down to the auto shop at the college I go to. I didn't like having such a bro lean with it either cause I just have a 1.5" AAL in the back. Plus going through CV axles too. No fun

It rides way better now too. Before the ride was terrible and wearing out the front end. But it said not to preload the coils

Yup,,gotta watch those plunge angles on those shafts. To seveeer for too long,, and it will spit one or both cv's. Just fixing that will make it ride soo much smoother.

Eibach is pretty spot on,,for as far as setting up there hardware. Spent some money there on another vehicle.

As far as this thread is concerned. Amazingly,,my front diff is holding up very well. I credit it to 50K oil swaps since new. Replaced the whole gig on my 85 SR5 at about 145K,,it was shot.
