I am a lurker!!!! After selling my 4runner years ago I went to the darkside for awhile and ever since I found this site I've been on everyday falling more & more in love with tacomas. Well today was the day I got a smoking deal on 09 and just had to have it.

Call XM and tell them that you have switched vehicles and they will tell you to go to a channel and it will have the # that goes with that unit and your account.

XM will talk you though everything

Make sure that it is xm equipped not just XM ready. There is a big difference. Usually XM ready means that the radio is equipped to handle an XM receiver. If it is XM equipped it already has the receiver and all you need is the code for it. I would check with the dealer. My Mazda was Sirius ready and I still had to get a Sirius receiver for it. Just something that you need to look out ofr. I have a plain jane so I didnt have that option.

Welcome to Tacoma World, it is addicting and will spend your money!!

I think its XM equipped. It has the wiring and the new "bump" antenna.

You just need to get the reciever...

    thanks fellas

someone above mentioned this site helps you send money well thats no joke cause I saw the group buy in you guys have going on with toytec and I am interested!! I just really would like to keep as close to the stock ride as possible. So I wouldn't even know what to go with. I think a 3 inch lift would be good.

My name is Jeremiekc and I am a TacomaWorld.com addict. As part of my recovery I am required to spend all of my extra money on my truck. I am getting better I am now spending $300 a month instead of $300 a pay day.

    Welcome to TW.

One suggestion: If you want to lift your truck, do it right or what you want the first time so you don't spend more money in the end.

I started just to level it after rear TSB. Got levelling shocks and 32"s. Was not satisfied, so I bought coil-overs, UCA and AAL. Now, I'm wanting 33"s but no money yet. Huhuhu:( I saved labor cost by installing the 2nd lift myself and a buddy.:)
