Rides great. smooth. gotta admit that this is my first truck - coming from a G35. its not as fast off the line as the 4.0, but feels good as you gain speed. I hadn't tested it much as far as roll goes. I probably only have 70 miles on it.

I'm still on the fence with that tonneau. Looks over engineered. The idea of unbolting and heaving that beast off every time I need to put something larger than an ice chest is not that appealing. Especially on a short bed.

Does it ride well folded back 2/3?

i've only had it folded out while driving, but i can't imagine that it'll cause anything unusual in the ride. it also has 2 clips that will keep the cover secure to itself if you want to do that.

um why is there a bolt/screw there? I thought that was for the lock so you could open/close the front section independently of the rear section?

That's why I asked the question regarding the seats being all the way back. I also have two kids, and I currently have a 2006 double cab, and the kids (5&7) are absolutely fine back there - in booster seats of course. Adults as well.
If there is similar room in the back as my 2006, there will be no issues.

Frustrating thing is that I might have to wait 2 months at this pace, no sign of them here :(:annoyed:

Have you sat in any of the new Ford's as of the last 5 years? It's like you have to do a pre-flight check list just to drive a damn F-150.

    Sorry for the thread derail.

    BEAUTIFUL truck, OP.

One can never have too many light bars.

Damn thats a strong button game but unless the F-150 has a hyperdrive I'm not interested.

Any chance you can get a pic of the JBL subwoofer behind the seats? Thanks.
