Malone. Been satisfied after a few early hiccups. They don't really seem to have any more info than I can find on here, but I am getting the build I want, and reasonably soon.

I would consider quicksand, yes. But I would likely go with blue pearl.

I only like it on the Off-Road with the contrasting black fender flares much like the Inferno looks good like that. Both colors are just too much to be alone on the Sport..

I seem to be in a bit of a bind. With the help of Letsgoplaces, I was able to track down a Tacoma exactly how I ordered mine, minus mudguards, plus the exterior package and tonneau cover. I believed that the way I specifically ordered mine would be an unusual combination, but lo and behold one exists so early into production. This produces an additional total cost (including tax) of $1300.32, minus the mudguards I wanted. I already disagree with the price hike between 2015 and 2016, so to buy this truck plus $1300.32 for plastic I'm going to remove as soon as I get it seems erroneous. On the other hand, the truck is ready to be bought and I can have it now. There are 10 Toyota dealerships in my County, and I didn't even bother to visit this one as they shut me down after uttering the phrase "not willing to negotiate under MSRP." Well, I stopped by the dealership today, looked at the truck, and after a grueling negotiation with the main sales manager I was able to agree on a price that I would have paid at the dealership I ordered my truck from. I have no idea how or why, but it happened. Even after "not willing to negotiate under MSRP." I wanted to drive away with this truck like a crack addict needs his fix. I have until Saturday to make a decision.

    Here are my concerns

-Sales guy (old guy) mentioned this truck had been on a piss load of test drives.
-Extra $1300.32 cost of useless plastic.

Here are the incentives of waiting until the end of October for the truck I ordered

-The truck will be mint fresh with 3 or 4 miles on the ODO.
-I can stick to my original budget, and not have to pay $1300.32 extra for plastic.

This truck has been at the dealership for 7 days, is the only Tacoma the dealership received, has been on a piss load of test drives, and it still isn't sold? SO, what would you do?

There she is, mocking me in my side view because I didn't buy her.

I would wait and save my 1300 bucks. Next month you can watch your new taco roll off the transport with a roll of $20 bills in your pocket.

As I've said before, it's a strange color in pictures. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. These pictures were taken in abnormal lighting, and it has the tonneau cover and running boards that make it appear less than attractive. Thanks for the input.

IMO this thread should morph into "how to turn a QS TRD Sport into an Off Road". Painting flares, removing front spoiler, bigger tires. Love the color just too much of it on the Sport
