X2. You hardly ever read about the good things celebrities do just the bad stuff.

Looks like most of the Republican hopefuls are ready to crank up the industrial military complex again. Governor Christie says that a strong military will keep the other world powers from messing with us. Gee and I thought the machine gun would end all wars. He wants to quadruple the size of the military. Looks like the draft will be starting up if he is elected.

But on a serious note, don't you just love how the candidates, from both sides of the aisle, will say anything to get coverage.

Patiently waiting on the next Donald TV special. Ratings were through the roof, CNN should have charged $1 mil for a 20 second add and made some serious money.

    Evening all:
Like I posted previously, I usually don't watch the debates, but these are "different"!
Funny how most of them are now saying something like what Trump was talking about originally.
Going to get interesting, and I would think they will try to do almost anything to try to remove the three "outsider threats" as time goes on.

Just saw this: 22.9 million viewers, the most watched debate ever by a long shot.
Wonder if Fox News is calling anyone?

Not to go political ... but President Clinton mastered that technique in the '90s IMHO.

    OOPS, forgot!
The Toyota dealer called today, two new headlights are in and an appointment scheduled for the 29th to have both headlights replaced due to the parking lights melting the lenses. I think it will also add another 7 years onto being warranted if it should happen again. :)
Hate to have to run down there again, but I don't think I would want to buy 2 new OEM headlight assemblies down the road, I think the notice said I had until Nov.14 to have them replaced if needed.

    TGIF

The city is repaving our court so I might not be able to pull into the driveway when I get home this morning. I still have some plants to plant then on to a small plumbing project.

    Evening all.
Not been on much lately. Between our final race and working 12 out of 14 days it's been a long stretch.
Hope everyone is doing well and safe.
I can honestly say our race meet was our most emotionally rewarding ever. I had the car apart because of previous design flaws and repaired said flaws. Made adjustments to the chassis and kicked some ass.
Announcer talked about us as we came through the field. We broke our own personal lap time records and had other racers talking about us. Our results kept us on a emotional high for a week. I won't forget this one ever.
So I'll do a little catching up on some reading. Enjoy the weekend. I have some fishing to catch up on if the weather holds. HERE FISHY FISHY..........

    Thanks people..
Going to my grandsons soccer game this am. 4 years old equals swarming ants around the ball. Funny and so cute.

    Let's have a little fun.

Google the day you were born on the USA billboard music chart. Find the #1 song.

Mine is "HEART BREAK HOTEL" by Elvis Presley :woot::yes:

The city did not finish on Friday. They did not do mush at all. Here are pics from Thursday and how it looks today.

The period of music from around 1952 to 1963 is my favorite.
