Off roading A while back I crushed the seven pin connector adaptor. I need to find a way to reattach it to the bumper. Looking for something that goes under the bumper so you can't see it and it's protected When I go out again. Here is a picture. Any options for replacement? Autozone did not have one that fits the bracket and Toyota wants $240 for a new one.

Edit: reason for being in marketplace is because I want to buy a new one if anyone has it available, or a custom fabricated bracket to hold it under the bumper.

    Buy aftermarket and mount elsewhere,

That bracket location is a joke.

I replaced this with a OEM part. Spent way too much.

That's what I am trying to avoid. For one, the parts person at Toyota was a dick. And hearing the price decided never to shop there again. As usual they are trying to price themselves out of the market.

I bought that relocation bracket from that link that was posted above.
I went by a junk yard..found a connector and the bracket..cut the plug with about 7" of wire to play with.came home cut mine off(it looked exactly like dirtyterp's..which the whole plug has to be replaced in that situation)..and spliced in the one from the junk yard.all problems fixed for a lot less then what the dealer wanted to charge me.

I was told by the dealer that they don't sell just the bracket.its all once piece.bracket, plug, and harness.they wanted to charge me like $700 installed.

That's not a bad idea either. There is only one junk yard where I am and I'm not sure they would have a Tacoma. Wouldn't be a bad idea for me to do the leg work and check though. Problem is, I could buy something on my phone and have it shipped to me.. I'm not lazy though.

That's not bad, I do like the relocation bracket that was posted by plannerman up top. It seems a bit more protected than this one. Thanks for the post though. I am appreciative of all Info. :)

Yeah, when autozone sells a 7 pin for $22, I can't justify spending that much just because "Toyota" branded their name on it :/

Yup... as I said not exactly cheap!

Well you could always take a drive down the hill and check out a Phoenix area junk yard.

Desert Valley Auto Parts (623-780-8024) has a yard at 7th Ave North of Pinnacle Peak. Might be worth a visit or even a phone call

Well no it won't fit factory brackets but you can easily relocate it where you want, if you want factory gotta find a junker with plug or buy from dealer.

If you mean plug fit a trailer like the factory absolutely
