Like I said before, I am not going to trust this until the mechanic tells me the car is okay.

Will let everyone know what happens next!

Feel free to keep sending along messages about your 04's with upgrades to the interior and exterior, caps, etc. Would love to see some pictures to get ideas. Thanks!

how far away is she located? Get the fastest vehicle you can find and start driving with the cash in hand...the mechanic will offer a lot more than what your supposed price is if he has any sense whatsoever...

I don't even think I'd have a mechanic check it out. Bahahaha At that price it could need an engine and transmission and you'd still be way ahead of the game.

Now that I think about it, either the OP is scamming us or the seller is scamming the OP. The pics are too clean to even consider a mechanic, this is a buy it now or scammage...no mechanic needed...

I swear on everything that is Holy I am not scamming you guys. Like I said in the OP, this is a serious seems-too-good-to-be-true scenario...and it very well could be.

If the paperwork is legit buy it no questions asked. I'll buy it for that price whatever it needs as long as the car isn't stolen it something weird

what it sounds like to me is you don't have the cash, that could easily sell for $7,000 to $10,000, depending on mileage...smells like fish in da room right now....

That truck would go for 12-17k around here depending on mileage.

Believe me, I have the money. But I want a Tacoma, this isn't an investment opportunity to me. So if the car is good and you guys are confident in saying that 04's are great trucks, than I am going to keep it.

Going to keep it? Do you have it already? WTF is going on here?

You are not making any sense....the reason people are skeptical is this is not the first time someone has posted crud like this...

I am sure I am as skeptical as everyone in this thread. However, the thought has crossed my mind to sell this and buy a better, newer taco

Not sure why that is funny considering I just found the truck today and wanted immediate feedback.
