If you look on Craigslist there is a link about scams. It has plenty of examples, I called about a truck and the txt me a email because they were in the army. Her husband died and would sell it through eBay. SCAM

Its fucking disgusting how they operate.

Do you, or anyone, know of the best way to go about finding used Tacomas? Want to stay away from Craigslist and eBay now

My buddy is selling an '03 Extra Cab Tacoma 4x4 TRD OR, Automatic, its white, 117k miles, 1 owner, 6 inch lift, 35" General Grabbers, some shitty ass chrome nerf bars, a lame billet grille, and a Westin (home of the underbite) bull bar. Really nice California truck, no rust, just some minor lame mods that I posted up. I take it you don't live in Oregon anymore?

Use craigslist. Focus on vehicles that are close to you. If the price is "reasonable" (not suspiciously low, not ridiculously high) arrange to meet with the seller in person.

Sometimes, you'll still get a rude person who will agree to meet you and fail to show. Happens. Grow a thick skin and move on.

Unfortunately not, living in New Jersey right now. I see Tacomas all over the road, but new ones. The fancy people here cant dare to be seen with anything older than 2010. Its a shame.

Good luck! Sorry you got your hopes up for a scam. :( People get taken by thieves like this quite often.

    Hiya Susan :)

Problem is, I'm pretty sure he'd still get an alert when he's quoted.

Just a side note, but I find your lack of text filled posts very funny.

I don't think anybody else replies so many times using only memes.

FYI you can now change your votes from clemenza getting a Tacoma(doesn't exist)to keeping the Jeep on page 1 of this cluster fuck[IMG]
