    Who here uses a food scale? I've been researching diets and foods for my wife and I've seen alot of videos of people using scales. Even for their protein and I saw Jim Stopanni do a video on how to measure his preworkout b/c I guess people won't getting the full 30 servings out of a container.

    Yes absolutely. I use my scale on pretty much everything I eat except when we go out. Yes it's lame but if you plan on counting macros and staying consistent it's essential.

    a mailing scale works as well. just have a specific food mailing scale you your not eating what ever the box was sitting on.

    Haven't been to the gym since Wednesday. Got that awful sinus crap (happens every time the weather changes like it did last week). Sore throat, couldn't talk, sinus headache, slight fever. Felt it coming on Thursday so I figured I'd skip the gym and give my body time to rest and fight it. Didn't work. Friday Saturday and Sunday I felt like freshly mowed dog shit. Gonna try to hit some legs tonight. I'm feelin better, just don't have much energy and feel weak as hell.

    Dang that's tough. I just lifted and hadn't been since Friday morning and felt weaker than I have in a while. I also spent the weekend at the beach eating and drinking like it was my last weekend on earth. Had gained 4lbs when I weighed myself this morning. I am feeling better about myself now though, I turned down a donut that the attendant at the gym offered me post workout.

    Hey random stupid question. I am getting back into working out. Normally when I start lifting again I go hard and pay for it for the next few days with lactic acid build up. That will happen regardless, but will it happen as bad if you ease into lift for the first week? Does anyone know?
