It is not the fact of caring and it being a deal breaker. However, if Toyota wants to advertise them in the package then it should all be there. Whether I want to use them in the door sill, give them to my kids to play with, or attach them to my shoes. Lol
More than likely someone else wanted them on their vehicle and the dealer pulled them from my truck.

Very nice deed indeed 5150. Don't let the DB's get to you. The one thing I have figured out is its all about how we handle ourselves...

My first choice would be the G-Tek aluminum door sill protectors that wrap around the edge.

But it appears the 2016 Tacoma door sill protectors also wrap around the edge, and may also fit the 2nd gens.

    Just me
What TomWil said, I have the seriously tough G-Tek sill protectors, you get your choice of diamond plate or mat finish aluminum that is powder coated.

I received "unchained 5150's" set a couple of days ago. I posted this thread only to find out if my sill covers were missing and to see what others had gotten with their package.

I did not expect someone to straight out give me a set with shipping included. Thanks a bunch unchained I really appreciate it!

What I received will work. I am sure in time they will need replacing. As for the short term I am protecting the paint from my little uns rock infested shoe bottoms!

You really need full coverage door sill protectors that go around the edge.
