Anyone watch this show? It's on Discovery HD channel....

GAWD!! Roach infestations like that...Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!! That's totally discusting!!! How can you live like that?

I'm not perfect and my house isn't spotless to say the least. I don't have pest problems and I pretty much keep things organized & clean. But this show has prompted me to clean things that I haven't cleaned in 10 years!!

My husband and I record the show regularly - and enjoy watching it although it's pretty damn discusting! I just can't imagine.

And that dog that sniffs out bed bugs and termites...pretty impressive!

I saw a commercial for it yesterday. I couldn't help but notice the Tacoma and Tundra that showed up in the commercial as well.

I've seen the advertisements, but have yet to watch it. My DVR is filled with too many "How its made" & "Unwrapped".

    Love the Discovery Channel!

I agree with you on how in the world does it get to that point of infestation??

I get mosquitos inside the house sometimes, but I think that it's from my wife opening the front door and standing there like her "servants" are supposed to come running. We had a couple of mice living in the basement when we moved in, the previous owner left out that little detail, but the cats made short work of them.

Almost forgot. When we bought the house, the aforementioned previous owner didn't disclose the fact that there was a carpenter ant infestation.

Man oh man, THAT was an adventure! Those little bastards were everywhere. Home paramount eventually had to drill holes in the walls and floors to treat them. Because of that, to this day they treat our house every three weeks.

We do have alot of ants in our yard. And spiders, big ones. I hate spiders.

I scream like a little girl when I find one in the house. My wife's got to get rid of them.

Her's a crappy cell phone pic of one of the smaller ones:

the house we bought had termites. Almost every house in New Orleans has had termites, but it is annoying that those little things have destroyed a few of our sill beams.

I've been lucky with not having any termites. Maybe the carpenter ants eat them.

Our family room is on a slab and we used to have tiny ants in the family room - which we assumed were coming from the back door with a poor seal. The door was replaced and I spray around the outside perimeter of the family room in case they're coming up from the edges of the carpet. I rarely seem 'em anymore (thank gawd). Other than that.... I see silverfish from time to time upstairs (two story home). I swear, they gotta be coming in from the drains (sink, tub, etc). I see 'em in the bathtub and they can't crawl out. Some small spiders that build their webs on our ceilings and walls & such. And not often, but those thousand-leggers come out once in a while.

I don't have a problem with insects.... as long as they're not in my bed when I'm sleeping, not crawling on me, or in mass quantities.

Yes, living in the woods enables you to see all sorts of critters that them city folk's never heard of.

I live pretty close to a river, and the perimeter of my yard becomes a stream draining to the river when it rains.
