Well both sides are on. Lots of little stuff left like wires that are too close and need moving for the starter... Connect headers back up to ypipe and bolt up the rest of the piping I had to unbolt to get the driver's side in. On that note, the driver's side was way harder to get in than passenger. I left all studs in since there was no room to torque them once the header was in place... Got it in and ended up taking the whole steering linkage apart not just the bottom out of the top. That gave me all the room I needed to get it in with all the studs in. Anyways, I'll post completed pics tomorrow.

I had some rage moments. I'm lucky my arms are small... I'm not sure how some people could get in there to tighten down the stud nuts on driver side. Gonna be a full 8 hour install not including pulling skids off. Lots of little things happened tho, like that moment when you drop an important nut and it doesn't hit the floor... Also fk air injection systems, would done easily by now if if weren't for that stupid shit.

Been there. Itll be worth it though.

On my turbo 240 i would always lose the nuts on the back side of the damn turbo flange. Which meant no wrench or ratchet could fit and it was against every single damn thing possible and you couldnt even see it without tilting your head like an owl

I found rock here as well

Figured out on my last trip what I need, I'm waiting out until November for some sales hopefully!

My buddy just passed through there 2 days ago, that area looks awesome.

I'm curious, as I've never had skids, if you'll have to persuade those skids back on.

Haha I'm sure you have! Yes it is awesome here. Was grouse hunting all morning yesterday with a killer view of wind river peak capped in snow. I love it here.

When they're new, no. After a few years of experience they may need a jack and hammer to get back on. Nothing that bad though.

Haha I was just lazy that day! Didn't pick lines hardly. After I saw what that trip did I will pick lines better from now on haha

Been doing any good on them over there?
Week before opener I jumped a group of about 12, I've never seen them grouped together like that before.

Flex head ratchet wrenches and swivel head ratchets FTW. Conventional wrenches and ratchets just make thr install extremely frustrating.

At least you have them on though. Have you started it up yet?

No birds yesterday but figures since it was sage grouse opener. Saw a cool ground owl that almost ate lead haha, it flushed really close and looked like a grouse until I didn't hear the characteristic wing noise, was silent.

Yea it was frustrating to say the least. I should have made a specialty tool run before I started but I was optimistic haha.

No start up yet, gotta go get a bolt to replace the one I hacked off yesterday by the catback flex joint because it was pissing me off... Soon!

Yup angle grinder got some! That bolt died in a firey waterfall of sparks. The spot welds broke on the front of the ypipe flange and the vice grip wouldnt do the trick. I was too impatient to wait for pb blaster...ha

Yea you'd think they could be so kind. Maybe it's our punishment for "modifying" our vehicles

Next time give acetone/atf mix 50/50 a try. It works great on those type of bolts
