What you going with.... Someday I'll be making my way to some of the huge shows... Currently run 1 10 on 2k in my 96 sr5... Will eventually be 2-15 walled or 1 18 no wall on 3.5-5k

 

I am using the system i had in my s10, 1 sundown sa8v2 on 800 rms from a hifonics zues..i would like to upgrade to 2 soundqubed 15s on 2k-2.4k. Doors idk, but i need something better than stock that will be level with my subs. If it wasnt so expensive id get McLaren components. Or mmats. But im not dropping 650ish on the doors lol. And probably gunna go with a pioneer pr80s (or whatever the model is) . There was a fellow 2015 taco there with 3 15s and hit 154.8 db

 

Last fest I went to in G-Ville was the Trash Bash. I don't remember much of it, but somebody shot video. I was running 2x12 and 1x12. Wife was running 1x15 and 2x10. Advice: Don't take free screwdrivers from people in junkyards:

You like that little sa.... I know I like my 2 sundown x8's

 

Its a quality speaker. Been running 800 watts on it daily for almost 2 years now. With a not quality amp, used to get hot during the break in phase, not so much anymore. Im thinking about going with mclaren audio. Really great sound

 

Right after i got the sa i discovered x8s were available. Lol face palm.

The X-8 is a very nice driver, if your have the mounting depth for it. Imo you might as well go with the X-10v2 at that point, good Port amount and toss 2kw at it

 

I have my mind set on the sq hdc3s right now lol heard a few different vehicles running them and liked it. Affordable aswell. If money wasnt a concern i would get some nightshades lol. And at spring break nationals 2014 and slamfest just this weekend mclaren audio wowed me with the vocals. Also mmatts. But that just too much money for mmats lol

 

I havent even opened up the doors on this truck yet. 6.5 in back and 6x9 up front right? How wide is the factory tweeter location?

 

No idea 1st gens have 6.5 up front and back

 

It's an under seat box in my Sierra I got kids and that's my family truck so my 2cu is just not enough room for 10's 26" port area tuned to 33hz

Very nice, my second amp is on backorder so stuck at low wattage for "4 to 5 week" but after that ill be back in buisness on 4k, or at least as close to 4k as theyll do.
