I got the motor to turn over today, me and Andrew were working at it. Got it to catch a couple times with quick start, then it sounded like it exploded.. haha but turned over fine after. He had to go to work so I frigged with it a little more and found that the EFI fuse was blown, so I replaced that hoping that I'd get some fuel delivery but still nothing. I'm kind of thinking the pump is seized up.
Because if it was seized then that would cause the circuit to overload and pop the fuse.

Well even if most of the syncros are gone it's still your best option. I think you should do bearings and syncros anyway. I saw what happens to needle bearings in my u joint, I wouldn't want to see them drsintigrate in a trans!

I think it's soon time for my release bearing job, which definitely means a clutch too. I wonder if I shouldn't crack open the transmission while it's off?

Can hardly shift into 5th without double clutching. I really don't want to get involved with the insides of the transmission.

Break the case and look at the syncros. That can't really hurt anything! If they are bad then you're like half way their for a shop to put in new syncros and bearings.

Hi kind of new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone had a spare set of 4x4 mudflaps for sale. If this post doesn't belong here I apologize. I'm located in Bedford but could meet up anywhere around Halifax area. Thanks

If I recall Mitch might have 3. One back one was lost to bump and grind I think. RIP right rear mud flap. 2009-2015.

That sounds very reasonable. Anyone want to test drive my truck, let me know if I am just being paranoid?

    Welcome to Tacomaworld!

I have the original rear flaps on mine, and I am not particularly attached to them. If you are stuck, and mine would help you out, let me know and I will pick up some aftermarket replacements.

I'm down for another late night tims run before I put away my car for the season! Is it crunchy into gear? I've heard that the 6 speeds are notorious for bad feeling shifts. Also I'm sure if you can change a clutch then you can split a transmission. Mitch and I did the tracker in like 2 hours. And now it's been sitting on the floor of the Garage for 2 months haha.
Cut up some old Peterbuilt flaps from a rig like the WRX STI that's running around! That would be awesome!

I do have 3! 2 rear and 1 front! They're not in the best shape. And the two rears are currently in a garbage bag. I can dig them out though if you want them!
