Installed DB Customz Grille and blacked out tails & 3rd brake with Krylon spray tint (2 coats). 5 coats of clear gave me a nice smooth finish with no orange peel effect. No loss of illumination.

Yeah...they're on order as part of a group buy from TrailToys/DBCustomz. Patiently awaiting their arrival.

    Yes.
I installed an RCI diff skid today. Unfortunately I didn't get to install it on Thursday prior to Fallout. Thankfully I didn't hit the diff, so I guess it all worked out.

Full set of RCI front skids are in my living room. (IFS, Transmission, Transfer case)
I still need to order a Trail Toys fuel tank skid.

69 Serro Scotty, light, cozy and just right for my lil crew! My parents are trying to get me into vintage camper restoration and this is their latest investment!

    Yes.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to installing the front skids.

Best part of being a Packers fan is knowing they can go 0 and 16 for twenty straight seasons, and still be sold out for the next 200+ years.
    Go Pack!

    Yes.
    Three reasons.
    1. The Trail Toys skid is like a 1/2" thick chunk of flexible plastic so it's highly unlikely to get punctured by anything.
    2. My TRD Sport doesn't have the threaded inserts on the fuel tank straps, so I'd have to pick a set of TRD Offroad straps up at the stealership or boneyard in order to install the RCI skid.
    3. I saw @SMKYTXN's skid after he dropped his truck on his drive shaft and fuel tank. It did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do.

I picked RCI skids after seeing a friend's FJ post FJ Summit where he dropped the whole truck on a rock that hit the transfer case skid. Small dent and some scratches in the powder coat.

    Yes.
I tuned so many antennas attached to these this weekend.... So many antennas...

I suppose it's my own fault for having 6 antennas on the Breakfast Taco, and always carrying one of these onboard.

Yeah, I used my buddy's SWR meter. He has about 6 or 8 antennas. HF, VHF, CB, some kinda alien shit
