I understand the pain of pick up groups. Join the100.io and you'll never have to play with a pug again. Since there really is no looking for group tool in the game like other MMO's and Clans can be hard to get into the 100 site makes the game fun. I have a group of friends that I play with regularly (even a mod from here) but I've got so many people on my friends list now from the 100 site that I never have to look for a group again. The way the site works is you create a account, put your playtime, style, age, parent (or not), ok with profanity, etc... and it matches you with a like minded group of players. You can then create a game or join any game that someone sets up. It takes all the pressure of having to perform (well you still have to play decent) and makes the game fun because you are playing with people that understand and don't rage quit if you screw up. EVERYONE screws up. You shouldn't have to put up with dicks that expect perfection.

We have a Raid group right now and we are at the Wizards. I'm at work right now and we got a run in the middle of the fight. Everyone knew I was at work and was completely cool with it. I made us wipe because I got a run. It's a game. I got back on after we got back and they created another run for tomorrow evening to finish as much of the raid as we can before the reset. That's what makes the site cool. I've sherpa'ed groups through VoG at least 50 times. I've run Vog 108 times. I love helping people through the raid because I know how much it sucks to get stuck with a group of players that are asshats.

Dude... I love this fucking raid. I've talked shit about Bungie for the last 6 months. Lets face it. HoW's sucked ass. I had all but given up on Destiny until I started seeing the Twitch streams. The "only" reason I logged in was to help others out through one of the raids or a 35 PoE (and I fucking HATE PoE).

But after this expansion.... I forgive them for the half ass game they put out. We were playing the beta version as far as I'm concerned. This.... is now the full game. VoG was a good raid. I enjoyed it. Buggy at times but I still enjoyed it. Crota was complete and utter bullshit as far as I was concerned. I hated it from the moment I stepped foot in it. When you can complete the raid in less than 30 mins... it sucked. The only good thing to come out of Crota was the Black Hammer as far as I'm concerned.

But this raid... This raid is the shit! I've enjoyed every part of this expansion so far. But the raid is so much fun. If there is a bug I haven't seen it yet. Mechanics are spot on. The fights are challenging and group coordination is crucial. I won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't been in yet but you are in for a awesome time if you have a good group. I haven't laughed this much in a long time in a game. Even failing is fun.

I will say one thing... You do not want to be leading the group after you kill Golgoroth. For those that have you know what I'm talking about lol. Poof.... Guardian Down. I haven't laughed so much at something in a long time as your trying to figure out what the fuck just happened.

 

I know man. You don't even have time for us smaller guys. Too busy running with the greats lol

 

Oh.. one more thing in our group. Teabags are MANDATORY no matter the circumstances lol.

Yeah... You'll have to be 290. Anything lower will be tough. Hell... I "think" anything much lower than 300 for Oryx will be tough. Not impossible but tough.

Ugh, I picked up Taken King a few days ago and I think I just beat it. Not happy I paid another $40 for it tho. Anyway, whos on Xbox1 and wants to play? Im mostly on Friday-Sunday.

 

I dunno man... I ran a bunch of strikes and got the buff. Then the engrams started raining down. That and Court of Oryx and I was over 290 by Thursday. Hell... I wasn't even running any exotics. I had a full set of DO gear thanks to cashing in a bunch of shards then leveled the gear up with the drops I was getting out of the strikes and just random blues. Now because of the raid I'm touching close to 300. I've got a full set of gear for my second WL once I hit 40 with him.

I will admit I did the "Three of Coins" glitch (if you can call it a glitch) and got a shit ton of exotics but have only equipped a chest piece and the sniper. The rest are sitting in the vault.

Nevermind I guess yall have done it lol. I got invective and some Titan stuff and a nifty purple helmet for my hunter

 

I just bought 50 coins. Kind of wish I jag bought more before they patch this bitch

The way I did it was doing the "Scourge of Winter" mission. Run through the mission and when you get to the door, pop a coin, make sure you have a RL (loaded lol), take the boss down to a sliver of health and shoot a rocket at his and your feet. I would avg at least one exotic about every 8-10 runs. It restarts you at the door and rinse and repeat. The longest streak I had without getting a exotic was 18. I figure this works with most any mission with a yellow bar boss but this one was easy.

 

I bought 150 coins btw.

 

That's what I was doing but I heard about stacking them, so I kind of ran through my coins pretty quick
