    Good morning all,

I will start by saying that I have not dug through the threads to try and find tips and advise on the best way to secure a 30" light bar in the lower facia of the truck. I do not have that kind of time to spare while in the office.

If anyone has any tips or tricks to securely mount a 30" double row light bar in the lower facia of our trucks (or knows of components that can be purchased rather than made) I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks all!
    Ben

If you want it to stick out flush with the bumper, you can use this mount(http://offroad.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/40156) If you want to leave the lower grill and mount behind it, you can use self tapping screws and drill directly down into the aluminum crash-bar behind the bumper. With this method, the standard mounts that come with the bar should put it at the correct height, just set back from the edge.

Agreed with the above... I mounted to the Aluminum blocks behind the crash bar (might technically be considered part of the crash bar but whatever)

I did not use self-tapping screws though. I used the provided hardware and drilled a hole in the top of the block just larger than the size of the bolt and then a hole on the bottom just large enough to fit a socket in order to tighten the mounts down.
