Now that some in the west have had their vehicles for two weeks or so, I wonder when we will start seeing them in the NE or SE? Shouldn't be anymore time than it takes a car carrier going from Texas to NY? YA think? I belive its the same distance from Texas to California where Tacos are piling up.

I am thinking SE Toyota is holding them up to allow for the sales of quite a few 2015s still unsold

Yea, it's getting annoying.....and you are probably right! Because every time I stop by a dealer, to see if a '16 is there, I wind up sitting in a '15 wondering how good a deal I can get on it, hahaha. I'm sure holding up the '16s is allowing them to sell a few more '15s. Guess we just need to stay patient.

I am guessing SE Toyota is holding them back at their port. I am seeing $199 Lease deals on 15 DCSBs SR5s. Since SET has their own financing, I have to think they are holding the 16s back

If you recall the movie, its a disgust, my only issue with new gen is the front and the price, but anywho DCH of Freehold has 2 listed on their site.

I have to say a lease deal like that is sooooo tempting! I'm thinking of trying to get a 2 year lease on a '15 (if they can make it worth my while). In 2 years we'll really have a feel of the 3rg gens...buy one then.

I found a 14 OR TRD 2WD with 12K , Leer Cap, and a lot of accesories for $28K..THAT was tempting but I just sold a 15..Must be patient and allow for my dealer to come to the plate with my order at the price they agreed to. I won't even call them as I don't want to appear anxious.
When they call me with the truck in inventory, I will tell them I will be there in a couple days to pick it up. Patience always pays off in many areas of life.

Yeah that lease deal IS very good......For me it would save a pile of cash leasing a 15 for three years over buying. At least there are options if my dealer tries to bait and switch me. I am thinking about financing a portion anyway at 1.5% PenFed CU

The front is awesome... it will grow on you. The price, well, I wish it were lower too, that's why I am consider a '15....but every damn truck out there is expensive these days...I know, sucks!

The front is far from awesome, been almost a year still hasnt grown on me. Price is sad because Toyota did the bare minimum to refresh the truck and then upped the sticker price by 3-4k.

That is a good thing, especially for those with a 2nd Gen as the price increase raises all boats.

I'm also really disappointed that all of the feedback on the mpg is that it basically didn't change at all! lol Could they really not catch GM on that!?!

"Awesome" may be pushing it to describe the front-end...but I think it's pretty cool, and am betting it will look better in person. But it's hard to beat the 2nd Gen look..I love that look.

Really? I don't think that will last. Dealer only offered me $26K for my 2015 TRD Sport 2WD I sold it faster than I wanted for $27900. Trade in on Tacomas is poor. I sold my 08 as well. The gap between trade and resale is huge. Dealers usually have used trucks priced up there with new ones helping those who want to sell themselves get a good price.

Ya I'm weird and like to check it from time to time. A month or two ago it was valued just under 32k now its 30k and change. Then again it is lifted now with tires and wheels

Durham, NC salesman emailed me telling me that they would be getting their first shipment the end of next week.

Raleigh, NC dealer told me several weeks ago that they would be getting theirs around the end of September as well.

My dealer said mid October, but because he indicated it was "sold" might be earlier, Don't know how that would work. It's not like they will use a car carrier to bring one truck because it's marked "sold"
