Did you have any problems fitting your 16's with maxtrac's? I just bought a set of SCS f5's in 16x8 w/ 4.5" BS with 315/75's on them and am about to get spindles but don't want to have to get a different set of wheels.

    Zack,

My 16" wheels are just fine, my Specs are exactly the same as yours for the wheels.
It's just that I'm running 285/75-R16s which are smaller than yours.
Clearance-wise, where the wheel+wheel bearing to spindle are all closest it will all be the same and it all clears just fine . . .

nope you're fine, I have the exact same specs as your wheels and mine cleared with no issues. Although I am running 2" wheels spacers right now, so it really doesnt matter lol. I had 265/75s at first with my 16x8s and now I have 315/75s with the same wheels. Here's how close my wheels were when I had taken the spacers off the front for awhile, it was close but it fits.

Awesome. I'm trying to ditch the spacers if possible. But this is pretty reassuring that it'll fit.

ill eventually be getting rid of the spacers, but I love the LT look and I dont have $8,000 to drop on full front LT lol....so...wheel spacers it is until then haha. I also have front glass, so the spacers fill the fenders out so it doesnt look like im on stilts or something lol

dont like it? dont look ;) you should be happy she is hehe :p you can look but don't touch :D

I went with Extreme Dimensions Duraflex fronts....I would recommend any other glass brand before buying these. They look good....but some of the holes dont even line up to where it's supposed to bolt to...and they were a pain in the ass to mount. But....I didnt have $1300 to drop on front AND rears from Fiberwerx to save on shipping. So I went with duraflex since it was $25 more shipped to me than the fiberwerx were themselves before shipping....only reason...lol

Was looking at fiberwerx but they are 6inch flare and 3inch rise, I want something more like a 3inch flare. Which leaves me looking at McNeill for the most part

What offset are you guys running on your wheels with no spacers? Any 0 or positive offset?

I need to get my glassworks fenders on. 6 more weeks and I'll be free. Thinking about 37's or 40's for when I put them on :luvya:

I wanted 37s....but there aren't many options for 16s to go 37s....I really don't want to up size in wheels. I like my 16s. With my fenders Even with all the pain and anger I went through to get the mounted, I love the aggressive look they have. Exactly what I wanted lol.

I'm in the exact same boat. I'd get 15's if they'd fit. I just love the tall sidewall and don't want to go up to a 17.

Well...I mean if it comes down to it...mickey Thompson has the exact same wheel I have in a 17", so if I had to...I'd at least get the choice of 37s and 40" toyo MTs, I'm sticking with toyo, i love these tires. I REALLY wish their all terrains had bigger sizes than 35s...
